A Summer Preview of the 2nd Kardamili Art Doc Festival – July 12 & 13
This summer, the cultural scene in West Mani is coming to life again with the return of the Kardamili Art Doc Festival, taking place from 25–28 September 2025 in the heart of Kardamyli. But before the main event begins, we’re excited to share two very special pre-festival evenings right here in our local villages.
🎭 Pre-Festival Theatre Events
Join us for a moving and humorous theatrical reading titled:
“What If We Never Die?”
Directed by Vasilis Floros and performed by actor Sotiris Tachtsoglou, this performance is a comedic and thoughtful reflection on the subject of death.
The main character, “The Human,” is an everyman who has spent a lifetime trying to come to terms with mortality. Despite studying theories and making peace with the idea in various ways, the fear still lingers. Through humor and self-irony, he speaks to the audience about this universal struggle — offering not just laughter but connection.
📍 Event Locations & Dates:
Saturday, July 12 – Proastio village, Church Square
Sunday, July 13 – Stoupa Cultural Centre
🕗 Both events begin in the evening (time TBC)
🎟️ Free Entry
These performances are part of the festival’s goal to bring culture to every corner of the region, and all are welcome. We encourage residents and visitors to come together and enjoy these unique evenings under the Mani sky.
Stay tuned for more details about the full festival program in September!
